Cana
Cana is a startup reimagining the beverage industry with an experimental countertop device that “prints” thousands of beverages on demand. I worked with the team to help launch Cana’s first product, developing a brand system that could express advanced technology, sustainability, and the promise of endless flavor—all within an already saturated beverage market.

The challenge was balancing Cana’s almost sci-fi technology with approachability and clarity. I helped develop a visual system built on bright, expressive color, futuristic typography, and immersive photography, grounded by clean graphics and a structured illustration and icon system. The brand needed to feel innovative without becoming cold, and playful without losing credibility. I carried this system across key launch touchpoints, including packaging, website design, social media, stationery, motion and video animations, and a comprehensive brand guideline.
The final brand positioned Cana as a confident, forward-thinking entrant in the beverage space. The system clearly communicated the product’s technological innovation and sustainability message while remaining visually flexible enough to support rapid growth. The launch assets provided Cana with a cohesive foundation to introduce their product, tell their story, and build recognition across channels.
