Svenja Jewels

Svenja Jewels is a New York–based jewelry designer in need of a refined logo that could live seamlessly across branding, packaging, and the jewelry itself. I partnered with The Beauty Shop on this project while finishing up school, taking on the challenge of creating a mark that balanced elegance with technical precision.

The logo needed to feel timeless and sophisticated while performing at extremely small scales. I explored many rounds of typographic iteration, ultimately landing on a Didone-inspired type style chosen for its classic proportions and sense of luxury.

To ensure the logo could be engraved directly onto rings and other jewelry, the letterforms were carefully customized. Thin strokes were intentionally removed and proportions adjusted so the mark would remain legible and recognizable at very small sizes without losing its refined character. The final arrangement of the letterforms created a distinctive, ownable wordmark that complemented the scale and craftsmanship of the pieces.
